Correctness Gone Mad
Correctness Gone Mad was a sketch show written by Craig Holmes and Andy Murray. It was performed at the Burton Taylor Studio Theatre in Oxford in January 2009, and once again as a special one-night only performance at the Old Fire Station Studio Theatre in Oxford in March 2009.
The show was particularly notable as the writers refused to fall back on easy laughs from swearing, sex or controversial topics, a deliberate move that came about as a reaction to much contemporary comedy.
“Many of the sketches were really very funny… If you’re thinking of watching TV, which I know you are, please lever yourself out of that La-Z-boy and get yourself down there. If nothing else, your effort will be rewarded many times over by the surprise at the end” – Daily Info
“The writing rings with confidence as it strays into the complex or ridiculous” – Oxford Student

The show starred its writers, as well as Rachel Parris, Daniel Roberts, Kristin van Zwieten and Joe Morpurgo.
